IMPORTANT: PLEASE READ THE NOTES BELOW

All applications must have all the required documents submitted and fees paid before being reviewed and processed. 

Submission deadlines are listed below.  Any application that is not complete by the deadline will be processed in the next time block.  Incomplete applications will be held for 2 review cycles and then will need to be resubmitted. 

All Nanka promotion dates will be the date the application is reviewed by the  applicable promotion board.  Nanka or National Governing Body.   

Brown belt applications will be Reviewed and processed  on the last day of the month for February, April, June, August, October and December. Submissions must be received by the 1st day of the month for consideration.    Nanka rank card will be issued by email to the applicant’s Head Instructor for presentation.

 Shodan, Nidan and Sandan applications will be reviewed and processed on the last day of the month for February, April, June, August, October and December. 

 Yondan and higher rank applications are reviewed and processed twice a year. The submission  Deadlines for these ranks are  Feb 1  &  August 1.  

 THE REVIEW PERIODS ARE NANKA’S REVIEW AND PROCESSING TIMES- THEY DO NOT INCLUDE USJF PROCESSING TIMES.
